The quality of the item is great, I didn’t really know much about the acrylic or paper but I did get the paper one(b/c I was also going to decorate it & tape things on it) & it isn’t what you think the paper is like a board type of paper topper. It definitely matched the description, I needed a certain time I contacted the seller & she did just that it came way earlier than I expected. Also, it comes with circle tapes to help you attach the topper on top of your grad cap, idk if it comes with acrylic but it does come with paper.
